Welcome to the Microsoft Servers Wiki! The goal of this wiki is to document, in full, the setup process to any early-2010s (and possibly earlier) server products from Microsoft. Not only do software packages occasionally rely on their servers, hardware like the Polycom CX700 requires a Microsoft Lync server in order to operate at all. It's also usually very difficult to get certain products (like Lync) fully set up, requiring referring to several decade-old blog posts just to get going. This wiki seeks to address this, acting as a central point of information for all of it.

I feel like this is somewhat of a given, but please do not use these to set up a production server! Not only have most of these server applications not been updated in a while, some updates are just straight up not available anymore, plus these are quick'n'dirty guides to get them set up. They're not going to be fully secure unless you take more actions which are likely out of the scope of this wiki.
